We offer the following contraceptive methods:

  • Condoms (male and female)
  • Spermicides
  • Birth Control Pills
  • Contraceptive Patch (the “patch”)
  • NuvaRing
  • Depo Provera (the “shot”)
  • Diaphragm
  • IUD
  • Abstinence Counseling
  • Emergency Contraception ("morning after pill")

When new methods become available we strive to offer them to you.

If your birth control method failed
(condom broke, forgot birth control pills, etc)
you are at risk for pregnancy.

In this case, Emergency Contraception (EC) is
an option for pregnancy prevention.

EC is effective if taken within 120 hours (5 days) of unprotected intercourse and is available at Health Awareness Services.

Please remember

Spermicides, birth control pills, contraceptive patch, NuvaRing, DepoProvera, diaphragm, natural family planning and emergency contraception provide birth control but do not protect you against sexually transmitted infections (STI’s) including HIV/AIDS.

The use of a male or female condom with every act of intercourse can help reduce your risk of getting a STI.
